Chef Leo Reyes is a restaurant professional whose love for hospitality stemmed from his childhood, where he cooked family recipes in his mother’s kitchen. Born in Mexico City, Mexico and raised in Puebla, Mexico. He moved to DC 23 years ago to pursue his dream in the culinary world.

 Chef Leo got his start in the food industry working for high-end restaurants called Smith & Wollensky Steak House, BLT Steak House, and Bobby Vans. In 2013, Chef Leo made his way to Lost Society as a Sous Chef and worked his way up the ranks to Executive Chef in 2018. Chef Leo has always had a burning desire to pursue his dream of being a Chef and leading a team. He is true believer in leadership - and believes that it is important to learn all facets of an industry by fully immersing yourself in the process and being willing to understand different perspectives.

 In his spare time, Chef Leo likes to play soccer, spending time with his family, and taking care his dogs Al Capone, Woody, and Rey. Leo believes strongly in the importance of learning new techniques in the kitchen, creating new intimate dining experiences with guests, and bonding with his team creating teamwork in the kitchen.
